My father's passing was a wake-up call that life is too short to delay taking action on your goals. I watched him chase his dreams, pushing through obstacles and setbacks. He had just passed his nursing exams a milestone he worked so hard for only to be gone in an instant. But if there's one lesson he left me with, it's this: Whatever you put your mind to, you can accomplish no matter your age or circumstances.

I've been an entrepreneur since the age of 20, and throughout my journey, I've started multiple businesses each one teaching me valuable lessons about financial success and failure. From shooting music videos and cutting hair to launching a small beauty supply store and eventually starting a trucking business, I've experienced first hand the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.

One of my biggest realizations was that I always had good credit I just didn't know how to leverage it correctly.
